lets get to the point .. shall we?

we dont seem to get to the point nowaday. when malaysia airlines announced some cheap fares recently, they advertised like a low cost carrier, quoting 599 for a one way flight to perth. that's advertising.
but when a local daily carried a story on the promotion, instead of saying:
cheap fares!! fly to perth now for RM1,800 (two way flight, airport tax, and furl surcharge). The normal price is RM1,200.
but instead they repeated the ad. sigh.
we cannot seem to break away from a broken norm although times have changed.today's headlines on better days for malaysians had to have three pictures - one malay, one chinese and one indian. sorry just doubled checked - it was two malays, one chinese and one indian. let me see if i got the order right. yes, that was how it was reported. the order is as equally important as the breakdown.
that brings us to page two of the paper, which stated that it won awards at a safety awards night. cant get any safer than that in term of reporting.
